The Rochester South and Horsted ward is home to over 20% of all the care home places provided in Medway and alongside the larger established homes we have a number of smaller providers.
Changing Lives Building Dreams (CLBD) is one such whose mission is to provide specialist healthcare with the aim of providing a safe and homely environment that promotes empowerment, independence and choice whilst enhancing the individuals with their daily living skills.

CLBD run the Rochester Residential Home in Wilson Avenue supporting young adult individuals with autism and moderate learning disabilities.
They recently installed a sensory garden at the property and the ward councillors were delighted to attend the formal opening by the outgoing Mayor and Mayoress of Medway, Cllr Stuart and Mrs Sarah Tranter.
