Kent’s new Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Scott
One month after wining the county’s police and crime commissioner election, ward councillors met up with Matthew Scott to celebrate his victory and talk to Matthew about some of the policing needs in Rochester South and Horsted.
We pressed the case for more visible policing and increased support for neighbourhood watch and those residents who have steadfastly supported their local community through running watches. Matthew will be looking into these and already plans are in place to increase significantly the number of PCSOs across the county.
