Cllr Phil Filmer joined resident Colin Hutson yesterday to unveil a huge line of colourful loom bands down Bells Lane and into the village square – a challenge he started in 2015, in support of Cancer Research UK.
Many residents joined Colin on the day to offer support and encouragement. On completion of laying the loom bands around the village, Cllr Phil Filmer addressed those present and congratulated Colin on his remarkable achievement – presenting him with a Village Voices Community Magazine Community Champion Award.
