NO to HMO in Brompton

We are very concerned, along with residents of the village, plans to open a HMO in the former Royal Marine Pub site to accommodate ex- offenders and recovering drug addicts.
Despite our strong representation speaking against the application at the recent planning committee meeting, community concerns were ignored. Labour’s planning spokesman, who fully supported this irresponsible application, highlighted how you are unable to trust Labour in understanding the needs of Brompton and our community.

Residents are very anxious and insecure about those that will reside at the HMO, in the centre of a residential area, upsetting the balance of the community. At a recent residents meeting it was agreed we will continue to work together to oppose this development.
