Cllr Trevor Clarke


Trevor was elected to the role of Chairman of the Association in March this year and has been a member of the Conservative Party for over 15 years.

He has lived in the Rochester South and Horsted ward on Cloisterham Park since 1989 and is married to Mandy, a primary school teacher. They have two grown up children and a third studying classics at Cambridge University.

Trevor now works part time for a London bank and has been actively involved in the voluntary sector for many years. A Warren Wood school governor, he facilitates Medway Prayer Net, is a columnist with The Medway Messenger and coordinates the local Neighbourhood Watch. He was first elected to Medway Council in a 2008 by-election.

Trevor chairs the Regeneration Culture and Environment Overview and Scrutiny Committee and the Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education as well as serving on Business Support Overview and Scrutiny, Chatham Charities, Designated Persons Panel, Rochester Airport Consultative, Rural Liaison and Woodies Youth Centre committees.
