The Wainscott Road fence has been reinstated

When several Wainscott Road residents received notification from Crest Nicholson, stating that is was no longer their intention to reinstate the fence separating their properties from the playing fields at Choir Close, Liberty Park, your local councillors leapt into action.
Within weeks, the area was cleared and a brand new, gated fence was installed, and the residents expressed their delight.
However, your councillors did not believe that the installation of new fence was enough for both residents and park users. They went on to guarantee funding was secured for new planting and trees ensuring that this area became a feature of the park.

Cllr. John Williams said

The new fence will help to tidy up the area and the new hedging will help merge the new fence into being part of the park landscape”.

Cllr Hicks said,

In conjunction with the Parish Council, we have ensured that Crest Nicolson have made good on their pledge”.

Cllr. Gary Etheridge said,

I am absolutely delighted that this project has been completed. It has made a big improvement to the area, ensuring that residents feel safe and secure in their own homes. This is a great example of how redevelopment can benefit the local area and existing residents alike”.
