Working with the Community

By Rochester & Strood Conservatives on

Responding to a resident’s petition, Cllr Phil Filmer delivered the new pedestrian crossing at Hoo Village Centre. This change has already made a significant difference and has a made the road much safer.
After listening to concerns from parents, Phil has ensured funds are available to deliver a similar crossing at  Primary School. These plans have been warmly welcomed by all at the school and the local community.
Your Conservative Team has also ensured funding to provide barrier protection to St. Davids Road and the Avery Way Junction at All Hallows after residents raised concerns about Vicarage Lane Road Surfaces, The Peninsula team got it resurfaced. These are just a couple of example of ward councillors getting things done.
