Strood North

As a long standing resident and councillor of Strood North it has been my privilege to represent
you and work on your behalf.

In May 2015 Strood North chose three councillors to represent you over the four year council term. I am grateful to have been given the chance to represent you once again, with my new Conservative colleagues, Steve Iles and Phil Hall.

Steve with his wife Josie Iles, has lived in Strood for many years. He works for the local Morrisons. He has an excellent knowledge of the area and knows what concerns local people. He has worked closely with me in having discussions as to our priorities and is committed to serving the residents of Strood North for the remaining years of the council term.

Phil has lived in Medway for more than a decade, has served as a secondary school governor and as an independent custody volunteer for Kent Police. He is committed to serving the community and has campaigned on local issues. Phil understands what matters to local residents and will work hard to represent you and deliver results.

Over the years a priority has been investing in Strood, be it through schools, leisure or business. We are all fiercely committed to continue this investment and take it even further on issues that really matter to you. Moreover, we are taking every opportunity to sustain this investment to ensure that Strood not only continues to thrive but is relevant to local residents’ needs.

Together we have the vision; we will commit and dedicate our efforts in making the difference you deserve. So please do take the time to look around Strood North’s pages and get in touch with us directly using the survey or contact page.

We look forward to meeting you and listening to your views over the coming years.

Best wishes

Cllrs Jane Chitty, Phil Hall and Steve Iles
