Brompton Boxing Club Visit
Cllrs Mackness and Tejan visited the new location for the Brompton Boxing Club, which was established over 30 years ago and which has provided such valuable support to both young and old in our community.
Billy Beck, former ABA England Coach and committed youth worker who leads the operation, intends to build the facility into a wider community centre for all.
Cllr Mackness said:
Billy is an example to all with his commitment to our community and is deserving of real recognition.
Working with Medway Council and Councillors, River First CIC, Dan MacDonald at the CAB and members of the Community Safety Partnership, we are looking to ensure the boxing club is now maintained on a sound footing for many years to come.
