Strood Rural

Strood Rural Ward, is located in the North Western part of Medway, stretching from sub-urban Wainscott northwards through a number of quiet villages and hamlets including, Cliffe, Cliffe Woods and Cooling. The ward has a rich history and beautiful landscapes. where you’ll find a great sense of community.

Covered largely by the natural beauty of the Cliffe Pools and Marshes, the ward offers residents and visitors ample opportunities to explore picturesque walking trails, local parks, and historic sites.

I’d like to thank Strood Rural residents for the tremendous support I’ve received in the last local elections (May 2023) and over the past 8 years. We’ve achieved so much – even through the tough times of the pandemic.
