Southern Water in partnership with Clancy Docwra will be replacing a further 28km of water mains and supply pipe services in parts of Medway including Rochester South and Horsted in the second phase of their multi-million pound investment into the renewal of the water main infrastructure.
Cllr’s Clarke and Griffin attended a drop-in session to discuss the proposals with representatives from both Southern Water and Clancy Docwra at the Warren Wood Social Club.

The roads in the ward where work will take place include Haig Avenue, City Way, Wilson Avenue, Blaker Avenue, Pattens Lane, Maidstone Road, Gerrard Avenue, Jackson Avenue, Grafton Avenue, Wallace Road, Duval Drive and Beatty Road with works expected to last until October 2017.
Customers in the area should have been informed direct by Southern Water of the work and provided with a dedicated local landline number (01634 824172) to ensure prompt responses to questions.
Please remember that if anyone calls at your property claiming to be from Southern Water or the ‘water board’ close the door and ask the caller to wait while you check their identify, by calling Southern Water Customer Service team on 0330 303 0368.
