Enhancing the green spaces within Rochester South and Horsted
Cllrs Griffin and Turpin met up with the Council’s Greenspace Development Team at the Innovation Centre to discuss the green spaces, footpaths and cycle ways in the Horsted Valley area.
Other community groups including The Friends of Horsted Valley were also invited to share ideas and map out future aspirations for the ward’s green spaces and connections.
The Horsted Valley is a wonderful and probably under-used asset in the ward and it is hoped ways will be found to help local residents have better access to and use of the grass chalklands and open fields.
