Ward Improvement: Working for our Community
All Medway councillors have a discretionary ward improvement fund that can be used to support the local community through small capital projects or donations for the provision of services.
Cllr Steve Iles was pleased to be able to support the Strood Drop-In Centre, a local project that offers a first point of call for information on a wide range of services and opportunities in the local area. The Drop-in Centre can also offer someone to talk to and a place to make and meet friends.
Street scene enhancements in the ward are also important to the councillors and a small grant was used to replenish the rose gardens outside the Rede Court Road Fire Station.
