Fort Horsted
From May 2023, the Fort Horsted ward is one of three new wards created from the old Rochester South and Horsted ward.
This will be a single member ward which covers the Fort Horsted ancient monument itself, Davis Estate, Horsted Park, upper Horsted Valley (south of Walderslade Road) and the Rochester Airport side of the A229, including the Airport, King’s Sports Centre, Holcombe Hockey Club, Fire Station, BAE, the new Innovation Park Medway areas, Innovation Centre, Airport Industrial Estate and the Horsted Retail Park.
Enhancing and protecting Fort Horsted
I have had the privilege of being the ward councillor for our area for these past 15 years. Married for over 35 years to Mandy, a primary school teacher, I have three grown up children and work part time for an international bank in London.
The new Fort Horsted ward is the southern gateway into Medway. It is a great place to live and work and hosts a wealth of natural and heritage assets which as your local Conservative candidate I will continue working to celebrate, protect and enhance.
